‘Ropero’ came about from a lifetime of loving and longing to create.

As a Textile Design graduate, the hands behind Ropero have always longed to share their creations wider.

Many wonderful years were spent working in schools, in charities and further afield with children and adults with additional needs. Having great opportunities to share, engage, communicate through this creative passion.

Then in 2025, taking the plunge to bring all the experience, drive and desire into its own.
There began the textiles studio Ropero.

A place and space where ideas, visions and practice can grow through products, commissions and experience.

We're excited to see how 'Ropero' may grow. Building on that desire to create, for our love of people and sharing in creating too.

About

Mainly using recycled, repurposed materials from dead stock, charity shop finds, customer finds and beyond to create pieces. With the aim of bringing what could have been redundant fabrics and materials back to life.

Commissions
Come to us with any commissions in mind.
These could be small upholstery, homeware, clothing alterations, textiles repair work, wall hanging, embroidery work and more.
